Tour Season
Want to learn all about cranberry farming? The origins, history, cranberry types, harvesting types, and related picking, processing, and shipping equipment? How about planting, fertilizing, and sanding? Maybe bee keeping, honey extraction/spinning and bottling are your thing?
Come and take a one hour tour and you'll get all of the above and more, plus many humorous anecdotes from a 12th generation Cape Codder and 3rd generation and 30 year cranberry farmer.
Tours given by Annie at 11am on Saturdays and Sundays when the Gift Shop is open. Check the Home page and here for tour hours when in season.

Hayden Separator 1905
This is not only a working antique, but even today's separators are designed the same. Quite the improvement over the cranberry boat shown hanging on the wall to the right that was used for nearly 100 years prior.

Sanding...
Spreading sand over bogs allows them to grow new vines, smothers fungal spores and the eggs of pests that would otherwise hatch in the spring, and produces more berries. Sanding methods include Dry, Ice and Barge.
