Gift Shop Season
There's a lot more to Gift Shop season than what's on the Gift Shop page. After all, it doesn't magically appear and Santa's elves are far too busy to lend a hand. This "season" kicks off shortly after the Walker Family Labor Day party hosted in the Bogside Barn which then undergoes a transition back to a Gift Shop. Lots of moving, cleaning, rearranging, and unpacking the cases of products made throughout the year to bring the Gift Shop back to life. Thanks to Covid-19, accommodations were made to keep the line outside and the Gift Shop lean-to is reconstructed every year since.
The GIft Shop is open on weekends starting Columbus Day Weekend for 5 straight weekends. The online Store usually opens a week or two earlier, but keep in mind that the Store is only for shipments, contains less than half the Gift Shop products, and fresh cranberries may not yet be available prior to the Gift Shop being open. During Gift Shop season, dry pick harvesting and cleaning berries for the Gift Shop and Wholefoods is performed on weekdays.
